Product(RED) Proceeds Going to COVID-19 Relief Fund

Apple donates all eligible products from the sale of product branded products (red) to a COVID-19 relief fund. Devices and accessories available in this range include the recently unveiled iPhone SE.

Product (RED) to support the COVID-19 fund

Typically, the proceeds from these sales are donated to HIV / AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa. However, Apple has stated that until September 30, 100% of this money will be used to fight the COVID-19 crisis. A statement the product website (RED) stated that “this will provide essential support in the health systems most at risk of an outbreak and, in turn, will help sustain HIV / AIDS rescue programs in sub-Saharan Africa” #

Eligible items include cases for various models of iPhones and iPads and Apple Watch straps. There are also specific branded devices, such as the new iPhone SE and iPhone XR.
