Chennai: A shocking incident took place in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai, where a 47-year-old gangster was hacked to death in Ashok Nagar on Thursday night, police said.

The victim identified as Sivakumar bore more than 45 wounds, according to the police officer. He was murdered in 1997 to avenge the murder of a rival ‘Thottam’ Sekar. Sekar’s son had been watching Sivakumar’s movement for the past 24 years after their father’s death.
