Legal research database company LexisNexis has launched a platform called Lexis AI that uses generative artificial intelligence to access the company’s database of documents and records. The system can draft documents and research case law, tasks usually done by junior attorneys or paralegals. The new platform will be used by several US law firms including Baker McKenzie and Foley & Lardner.
