Today, a company that offers high-precision, value-added plastic part manufacturing solutions for both medical and non-medical applications announced the acquisition of two firms from Schauenburg Hose Technology: GlobalMed Inc. in Canada and Schauenburg-Truplast in China. announced (“Global Med” altogether).
GlobalMed is a specialized medical tubing and extrusion producer with more than 40 years of plastic extrusion experience. GlobalMed is based in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. Currently, the business manufactures original equipment (OEM) medical devices for use in anesthesia, ventilators, ventilation, surgery (fume extraction), and sleep apnea. GlobalMed maintains headquarters and production facilities in Guangzhou, China, as well as Trenton, Ontario, Canada.
