The multimedia messaging app Snapchat has released a new feature that now allows creators to disclose the number of subscribers they have. Mashable quoted a report from Tubefilter stating that the users have the option to view their subscriber counts. A Snapchat spokesperson told Tubefilter, “We’ve been listening to feedback from our maker community and many of them have expressed an interest in the opportunity to show their community is growing on Snapchat.”
The spokesperson added, “… we are giving creators the ability to make subscriber counts visible on their public profiles … We understand that not every creator wants public statistics visible to their fans. That’s why creators can choose to have these statistics as desired in their settings. ”As reported by Mashable, Snapchat has released new features to make the platform a lot more fun and interactive for users. Last month, Snapchat launched a new feature called Sounds that allows iOS to Snapchat users worldwide can add music to their Snaps from a music catalog of songs from new and established artists.

As part of this feature, when a user receives a snap with Sounds, a user can swipe up to view the album art, song title, and artist name. There will also be a ‘Play This Song’ link where users can listen to the whole song on any of the music streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music and SoundCloud.
