South Dakota Voucher Program Offers More Funding for Mental Health Support Services

More than 50 mental health and substance use providers are already enrolled, the release states. The program will be managed by DSS’s Division of Behavioral Health, and paid for by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the release states. The program is part of the 605 Strong programs connecting South Dakotans to basic needs, financial assistance opportunities, government information, and mental health and family resources, according to a press release from the department Wednesday.
