A few months after Super Meat Boy Forever finally showed up on the Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch, the game is now coming to PlayStation and Xbox. Team Meat is bringing the game to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on April 16. It will cost $20.
The highly anticipated sequel landed on PC and Switch in December, more than a decade after the classic platformer Super Meat Boy was released. This time, Meat Boy and his partner Bandage Girl set out to rescue their child, Nugget, from the clutches of Dr. Fetus. They must make their way through many fiendishly difficult levels to get their offspring back.
Super Meat Boy Forever is an auto-runner, so you have no control over your character’s movement speed or direction. It’s more about finding the right timing for jumps, slides, and punches. The randomly generated levels are based on thousands of handmade platform sections, so you’ll have a new challenge every time you play.
The game is also coming to Steam later this year. However, there is no word yet on when the long-planned mobile versions will appear.
