TCSS says COVID cases are falling – LaGrange Daily News

Nineteen employees had a positive case of COVID-19 and seven were in quarantine due to close contact. There are 14 employees with extended quarantine time. There are 413 students who are in quarantine due to close contact. Last Friday, there 823 students in quarantine.

“Again, I’d like to thank the community, our students and parents and our staff again for their support in keeping our schools open and keeping our staff and students safe,” Shumate said. The school system reported that a total of 133 students had a positive case of COVID-19, which is nearly half of the reported cases of 220 in last Friday’s report.
