BSNL renews broadband, FTTH plans and benefits in Andaman and Nicobar circles

Government-owned Telco Bharat Sanchar NigamLimited (BSNL) has announced the renewal of broadband and Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) plans in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The updated plans have the exact price as before, but with faster speeds and a greater amount of data, Telecom Talk noted.

BSNL has also abolished data coverage costs on its FTTH plans. Initially, BSNL had limited the speed on the islands to 10 Mbps. Now the updated plans bring 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps speeds. Let’s look at the plans in detail.

BSNL brings speeds of 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps in Andaman and Nicobar circles. Below are the plans that go with it:

Rs 799 plan: Also known as 60GB Plan CS 330, this broadband plan offered by BSNL offers speeds of up to 10 Mbps to 60 GB per month. Once the 60 GB limit is reached, the speed will drop to 512 Kbps.

Rs 999 plan: Users in the Andaman and Nicobar circles can browse at speeds of up to 10 Mbps to 150 GB per month. Once the 150 GB limit is reached, the speed will drop to 512 Kbps.

Rs 1899 plan: Users can browse at speeds of up to 10 Mbps to 10 GB per day, 300 GB per month. Once the limit of 10 GB per day is reached, the speed is reduced to 512 Kbps.

Rs 2799 plan: Also known as 15GB Per Day Plan CS342, this plan allows users to browse up to 50Mbps speeds up to 15GB per day. Once the 15 GB limit is reached, the speed will drop to 512 Kbps.

Rs 3999 plan: Also known as the 25 GB per day CS332 plan, this plan allows users to browse up to 100 Mbps speeds until 25 GB per day is reached. Once the 25 GB limit is reached, the speed will drop to 512 Kbps.

Rs 5999 plan: With this plan, users can browse up to 100 Mbps speeds until 40 GB per day is reached. Once the limit of 40 GB per day is reached, the speed drops to 512 Kbps.

Rs 7999 plan: With this plan, users can browse up to 100 Mbps speeds until 50 GB per day is reached. Once the limit of 50 GB per day is reached, the speed drops to 512 Kbps.

BSNL has renewed ADSL subscriptions with up to 50 percent extra benefits:

BSNL has also increased the benefits of its ADSL plans to 50 percent, keeping the price the same. Let’s look at these plans in detail. The plans are priced in the range of Rs 350 to Rs 7500.

Rs 350 plan: Also known as the 30GB Plan CS240, the plan costs Rs 350, allowing users to browse up to 8Mbps until 30GB per month is reached. After the limit is reached, the speeds drop to 512 kbps. Previously, this plan offered speeds of 2 Mbps to 2 GB, after which speeds would drop to 512 kbps.

Rs 650 plan: With this plan, users can browse up to 10 Mbps until 60 GB per month is achieved. After the limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps.

Rs 1000 subscription: With this plan, users can browse up to 10 Mbps until 200 GB per month is achieved. After the limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps.

Daily subscriptions with 10 Mbps: BSNL offers 3 plans that offer high speeds of 10 Mbps, after which the speed is reduced to 512 Kbps. These plans range from Rs 1750, Rs 2750 and Rs 3750 and offer 10 Mbps data at the daily limits of 10 GB, 15 GB and 25 GB respectively.

Rs 5000 Plan: Also known as the 35 GB Per Day Plan CS227, this plan offers speeds from 10 Mbps to 35 GB per day, after which the speed is reduced to 512 kbps.

Rs 7500 Plan: Also known as the 50 GB Per Day Plan CS262, this plan offers speeds from 10 Mbps to 50 GB per day, after which the speed is reduced to 512 kbps.
