Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones with 40-hour battery life launched in India

Skullcandy has introduced its new headphones to the Crusher franchise called the Crusher Evo for Rs 12,999. The headphones come with the combination of Skullcandy’s sensory haptic bass and personalized sound from Skullcandy’s partner Audiodo. The audio personalization technology can be enabled through the Skullcandy app. The sensory haptic bass function is a hallmark of the Skullcandy Crusher headphones and will be reflected in the Crusher Evo headphones as well.

Skullcandy says the Crusher Evo headphones offer a long-lasting 40-hour battery life with fast-charging technology that can provide 4 hours of playtime after just 10 minutes of charging. The headset also has media controls, so users can answer calls, switch numbers, adjust volume controls and activate native device assistants like Google and Siri without touching their phone.

Like other recently launched Skullcandy products, the Crusher Evo headphones will have built-in tile search technology that will allow Crusher Evo owners to easily ‘call their headphones’ to locate them if they are ever lost. In addition, the headphones are flat foldable to make the headphones more compact and foldable design for easy portability. The Crusher Evo also has a streetwear-inspired carry case and an auxiliary cable for non-Bluetooth connectivity, for viewing or listening to content on airplane consoles. The headphones come with a USB-C charging cable and a 2-year warranty.

The Crusher Evo headphones are available for Rs 12,999 on Skullcandy’s website. Users should turn the slider down for more soft bass on the headphones and move it up for music with a lot of bass. Skullcandy also says the Crusher Evo features audio quality improvements over the original Crusher, allowing users to experience an even wider range of deeper, richer bass.

Skullcandy notes that to personalize a sound profile, a Crusher Evo user can simply connect the headphones to the Skullcandy app and take a quick audio test to determine their unique personal sound profile in both the left and right ear. Skullcandy also works with the Swedish Audiodo.

According to the company, Audiodo technology automatically adjusts incoming audio levels to optimize the sound from the headphones for each user’s profile. This allows the users to hear layers and sounds in their audio that were never perceivable to them before.
