Telangana Minister of Industries lays foundation stone for Kitex factory in Warang

K T Rama Rao, Telangana Industries Minister, lay the foundation stone for the Kitex unit at Kakatiya Mega Textiles Park in Warangal on Saturday. According to the Minister’s official twitter account, the Kitex textile industry, which would cost Rs 1,600 crore, will employ about 15,000 people. It claimed that laying the foundation stone for the plant is a step toward the Telangana government’s goal of turning Warangal into a textile centre. In September of last year, the Telangana government and the Kerala-based Kitex Group struck an agreement to establish two integrated fiber-to-apparel manufacturing clusters. PTI NVG NVG SJR SJR
