The most powerful and agile laptops from the Lenovo Legion Slim Series are designed for gamers who create as well as gamers who create

Today, Lenovo unveiled the eighth generation of Legion Slim laptops, enabling gamers to take advantage of the new series’ flexibility. There are more options than ever among the new Lenovo Legion Slim 7i and 7 (16″, 8), Lenovo Legion Slim 5i and 5 (16″, 8), and—an entirely new size for this year—the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (14″, 8), which raises laptop power and portability to a completely new level. The Lenovo Legion Slim series is all about empowering players to crush their gaming goals while also pursuing their creative passions. This series’ most recent version also features the first CPUs from the Lenovo Artificial Intelligence (LA) family. These are the physical AI chips inside Lenovo’s laptops.

With an SD slot, rapid battery charging technology, Windows 11, three months of free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate2,3, access to Nahimic by SteelSeries 3D immersive audio, and Lenovo Vantage, the Legion Slim range of laptops from Lenovo is made to fulfill the diverse needs of gamers. With Legion Arena, users can create their ideal gaming hub with all of their titles accessible in one place rather than having to switch between apps. Lenovo’s Legion Ultimate Support service offers peace of mind with round-the-clock tech support, guidance4, and assistance so gamers don’t have to miss a beat. Also, gamers can anticipate the new Lenovo Legion R45w-30 44.5″ 32:9 ultrawide display if they want to literally broaden their horizons.

According to Jun Ouyang, vice president of Lenovo and general manager of the Consumer Business Division, Intelligent Devices Group, “Lenovo has always believed in giving gamers the freedom to choose the perfect computer for their gaming performance and lifestyle.” In addition to the Lenovo Legion Pro Series, Legion Towers, and Lenovo LOQ gaming devices, the new Lenovo Legion Slim Series of gaming laptops “fills out our gaming portfolio with customized solutions that cater to players with a wide range of gaming ambitions.”

The most recent 8th generation of Lenovo’s Legion Slim 7 series is made to meet the needs of gamers who require a laptop that can play AAA games smoothly while also being quick enough to do other duties like streaming, content creation, or work computing. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i and Lenovo Legion Slim 7 both have Windows 11 and up to a 13th Gen Intel® CoreTM i9-13900H or up to an AMD RyzenTM 9 7940HS processor. They also have up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 4070 GPU and up to 32GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM, which bring worlds that have been created and explored to vivid, clear life on their 16-inch 16:10 Lenovo PureSight gaming displays.

Thanks to Lenovo Legion’s ColdFront 5.0 advanced thermal system, which includes quad copper hybrid heat pipes, phase-change thermal compound, a brand-new air intake, and a 90-blade fan system, the laptops are designed to stay cool even under heavy load and produce just 48dB of fan noise in performance mode. Thanks to the internal Lenovo LA AI processor, which dynamically adjusts thermal performance to enhance framerates and reduce noise, the thermals are pushed even further, enabling the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i and 7 to reach up to 140W TDP.

Users can work undisturbed for up to 10 hours on the 99.99Whr battery, which is the greatest battery size permitted in the inside cabin of most airlines. 1 With a 230W Slim Adapter, Super Fast Charge can fully charge a device in as little as 80 minutes1,6, but both USB-C® ports also enable DisplayPortTM 1.4 and 140W charging. The MediaTek Filogic 380 Wi-Fi 7 card enables Wi-Fi 77, making the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 series one among the first laptops in the world to support it. It is designed to ensure that poor internet rates won’t be a barrier to success.

The full-sized Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard offers a 1.5mm key travel, a big arrow key layout, and a full numeric keypad for comfortable typing over extended periods of time. The keyboard may be personalized with swappable WASD keycaps, Lenovo Legion Spectrum per-key RGB illumination, and a white backlight for those who prefer a more subtle style. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i and 7 are the most manoeuvrable Legion Slim laptops yet because they are equipped with all this computational power with a small (17.99mm at its thinnest point) all-metal chassis that comes in Storm Grey or Glacier White8.

Lenovo Legion, which just added the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i and 5 to its portfolio for the 8th generation, believes in giving gamers greater freedom and options. The size of the laptop is where options start; there are 16-inch Lenovo Legion Slim 5 and 5i models as well as a 14-inch Lenovo Legion Slim 5 with an OLED display. 1,2

The Lenovo Legion Slim 5i can be ordered with an Intel Core i7-13700H CPU up to the 13th generation, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 can be ordered with an AMD Ryzen 9 7840HS processor. Both variants are compatible with laptop GPUs up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. With its larger hybrid copper heat pipes and fins, phase change thermal compound, enhanced air intakes and exhaust, as well as a turbocharged 12V dual liquid polymer fan system, Legion ColdFront 5.0 keeps gaming sessions cool and quiet while assisting in the prevention of throttling.

The latest 44.5-inch 32:9 widescreen monitor from Lenovo, the Legion R45w-30 Gaming Monitor, is a terrific option for gamers and producers who want more screen space to fully immerse themselves in their games and workflows. The 500nits maximum brightness of the 120% sRGB, 115% DCI-P3 display and its overclockable 165Hz refresh rate to 170Hz result in a smoother, more immersive gaming experience. Fast-twitch games are guaranteed to feel effortless and natural thanks to the 1ms MPRT response times. In order to maximize HDR and reduce screen tearing, support for AMD FreeSync® Premium Pro and New Adaptive Sync is required. This results in a totally immersive gaming experience. The Lenovo Legion R45w-30 offers HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, a USB hub, and audio out connections in addition to supporting USB-C gen 2 with 75W of smart power.
