Popular social network video sharing service TikTok has reached two billion downloads worldwide amid the blockage enforced in many parts of the world to contain coronavirus.
The Sensor Tower analytics platform reported that the social media platform app has been downloaded more than 2 billion times worldwide.
It was downloaded 315 million times in the App Store and Google Play combined this quarter alone. In particular, these app download numbers don’t take into account third-party app stores popular in China. Sensor Tower said India, China and the US are the countries with the most downloads. However, the downloads do not indicate active users of the application. (ANI)
