‘TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge’ is now available on iOS and Android as a Netflix mobile exclusive

If you’re looking for a game to play right now and have a Netflix subscription, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is worth a look. It has just arrived on iOS and Android as a mobile exclusive for Netflix subscribers.

Shredder’s Revenge updates classic TMNT side-scrolling beat-’em-ups like Turtles in Time. It not only has beautiful pixel art, but you can also throw enemies at the screen like in the old days. I downloaded the mobile version as soon as it was available and, within 30 seconds, I had joined a party of five other people to deliver swift justice to Bebop, Rocksteady, and the Foot Clan. April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones are playable characters in addition to the turtles.

In the few levels I played, the game ran without a hitch on my iPhone 12. The touch controls are adequate, but I doubt I’d want to play the entire game that way. If you have one, an external controller is a better option. Shredder’s Revenge, in any case, was one of my favourite games of 2022. I like the idea of being able to play it anywhere without having to lug around my Steam Deck or Switch.

Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes were recently added to Netflix’s growing and impressive lineup of mobile games. Vikings: Valhalla and Valiant Hearts: Coming Home will be available on the service in the coming months.
