Legacy Blue Tick Owners Experience Similar Technical Issues
This isn’t the first time Twitter faced problems with its desktop version. As per Zee News India, last month, the social media giant experienced a similar issue that affected millions of users, with links failing to open, images not loading, and other technical difficulties. Even Blue tick holders were not immune to the glitches. A minor edit to their bios caused their blue badges to be repossessed and then briefly reinstated when the platform encountered a bug. However, once users refreshed their pages, the badges disappeared again.
Twitter’s Ongoing Technical Issues
It’s only been a few months since Twitter’s March outage, wherein the platform faced massive issues attributed to only one person handling Twitter’s API on the back-end. As per Zee News India, users experienced a wide range of problems, and images would not load, links would not open, Twitter feeds would disappear, and tweets could not be posted.
The Future of Twitter’s Desktop Platform
Many users rely on Twitter’s desktop platform for productivity and convenience. Unfortunately, Twitter’s continuous technical issues cause significant problems for users, not to mention a dip in the platform’s popularity and reputation. It remains to be seen how quickly Twitter can resolve these technical glitches and regain users’ trust and loyalty by providing a satisfactory user experience.
