Prior to joining UF Health, she served in a variety of clinical leadership positions for several hospitals and integrated health systems, including Summerlin Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and AdventHealth Orlando. Chestnutt is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and nearing completion of a Master of Business Administration program through the University of Phoenix. In addition to being certified in Lean Six Sigma methodology and leadership training facilitation, Chestnutt is active with a number of professional organizations, including the American Organization of Nurse Executives. In her role, Chestnutt will assume operational responsibility for all clinical, ancillary and administrative services at UF Health-The Villages® Hospital. She will serve as a leader in the areas of clinical practice, care and capacity management, and regulatory compliance. Chestnutt will work to implement process improvement initiatives, strengthen multidisciplinary team collaboration, and boost overall team engagement.
