NAMI is hosting their annual fundraiser on May 22, the NAMI Walk. This year, the event is virtual and more information can be found here. “We’ve had people come up and tell us either different stories or different things that they didn’t want to put up there but they felt that they were really grateful for,” Schweiger said. “We have a brochure that’s called ‘Tell Me Where to Turn’ and it has a variety of resources for people dealing with a wide variety of mental health issues,” Schweiger said. Director of development for NAMI, Ian Schweiger, says they also have mental health resources and facts available.
The wall is up all month and all ages can participate. Participants write what they are grateful for on a sticky note and add it to the wall.
