According to Microsoft Office Insider Blog post, Microsoft Office for Android’s new voice capture feature helps you easily capture voice memos and transcribe them for further use, using live voice-to-text transcription. It also supports highlighting synced text during playback, making it easier to see voice memos. It also provides the ability to share recordings / transcriptions with other Microsoft 365 apps. For Microsoft 365 subscribers, this feature also allows you to split and post input from different speakers based on their ID.

After rollout Dark mode support Earlier this year, with Microsoft Office for Android, Microsoft added another key feature to its apps. This new feature makes it easy for journalists, students, etc. to capture and post voice recordings on their mobile phones.

The app will save the recordings as a voice card and you will be able to see all the recordings in the app’s list view. If you want to see the recording, you need to select the voice card to play with the synced text highlighting.
