Xbox Game Pass has confirmed nine new games for January 2022, with two of them already available

These day one releases ensure that January 18 is a big day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, but there’s even more on the way later this week. January 20 will see the launch of six different Xbox Game Pass games, four of which are brand-new, day one releases. Hitman Trilogy, Pupperazzi, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, and Windjammers 2 are all dropping on January 20 as day one Xbox Game Pass games, while Rainbow Six Siege is finally making its way to the PC version of Game Pass.

In January 2022, Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service saw the debut of a number of high-profile new games, with more on the way. Microsoft has revealed that nine more games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in the second half of January 2022, with two of them accessible to try out today. On January 18, Microsoft unexpectedly released Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition for Game Pass, with the previously announced Nobody Saves the World. Both are Xbox Game Pass games that were released on the same day, however Danganronpa was previously available on other platforms. Meanwhile, Nobody Saves the World is a whole new release from popular indie developer Drinkbox Studios, and it’s the best game they’ve ever made.

The aforementioned Xbox Game Pass games coming on January 20 were already confirmed by Microsoft in advance, but a newly revealed title in the lineup is Death’s Door. Death’s Door combines classic Zelda-style gameplay with tough boss fights and a Dark Souls-like atmosphere to create an engrossing experience that saw the game earn rave reviews, standing out as one of the highest-rated titles of all of 2021.

And finally, January 27 will see yet another day one Xbox Game Pass game added to the service when Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master releases for Game Pass across PC and consoles. Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master is a music/rhythm game with over 70 songs and local/online multiplayer support.
