Just a few hours after the announcement of the official unveiling of the OnePlus 6T on October 30, the Chinese company confirmed that the smartphone would be available a week later, November 6. It is not often that a phone manufacturer is willing to disclose so much information before the unveiling, but in light of leaks that have spoiled all recent revelations, OnePlus is more open than ever before the launch of the OnePlus 6T.
With the OnePlus 6T en route, we’ll see the OnePlus 6 sold out soon on Amazon India and the OnePlus website. While many were waiting for more information on the OnePlus 6T before deciding which smartphone to buy, many others may have opted for the classic variant 6 by removing the 6T headphone jack. If you were still on the fence, the OnePlus 6 will go on sale to celebrate the Amazon Great Indian Festival on Amazon India from October 10-15. These are also quite significant price reductions. Each variant is cut by Rs. 5000, about $68.
Thanks to OnePlus staff members, we already know that the new flagship product will be the first to offer an integrated fingerprint scanner. Much to the dismay of many, we also know that the 6T will be the first OnePlus handset to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack for USB-C audio.
Currently, the 6T looks like a 5T-style upgrade, but with its specifications that have not yet been officially announced, we still have some surprises. The launching ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11 am local time in New York.
