OPPO R17 Features In-Display Fingerprint Sensor And Snapdragon 670

OPPO triggered a new smartphone, dubbed the R17, which will be sold from August 18 in China. It is interesting to note that its specifications are the same as they were flight last week. The phone displays an all-screen fascia with one of the smallest notches of the selfie camera. In addition, it sports a fingerprint sensor in the screen, Gorilla Glass 6 protection and the latest Snapdragon 670 process chipset Qualcomm 10nm under the hood.

The OPPO R17 features an almost frameless 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD + display and a screen / body ratio of 91.5%. Under the display, there is a 4 sq / mm big Fingerprint sensor in the bottom half with 3P Micro Lens to optically save the user’s biometry. By the way, the SD 670 SoC smartphone is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. For selfies, it uses a 25-megapixel sensor at the front with an f / 2.0 aperture lens. OPPO has not revealed the dual-rear combos, but it says the sensors are powered by AI and can detect up to 800 scenes to improve the results.

The OPPO R17 houses a 3500 mAh battery that can accelerate quickly thanks to the VOOC fast charge support. And, it comes with Color OS 5.2 on Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.

As mentioned above, OPPO R17 will go on sale August 18 and its price should be announced at that time. TThe smartphone can be purchased in two colors – Stream Blue or Neon Purple.
