The Review of the Enacfire G10 Wireless Gaming Earbuds

When I heard the words ‘wireless gaming earbuds’, my ears prick up up. If the tiny Enacfire G10 could let me play games without being tethered to my controller and without the distraction of chunky headphones, I thought we’d be a winner. Unfortunately, the Enacfire G10 Gaming Earbuds are quite below par.

The G10 comes in a hip, Sith-looking black matte case. As is typical for true wireless earbuds, this is doubled up as a charging station when not in use. The case is slightly larger than ideal and only just fits in that little pocket in my jeans – somewhere I’ve become accustomed to keeping such cases in the past.

Conveniently, the front of the case has three LED bars that light up up when you drop your earbuds to charge. The more bars, the more charge your case can deliver to your earbuds before you put them back in your ears. Unfortunately for me these lights also randomly turned on in the middle of the night which is both blinding and disorienting. Pro tip: don’t leave it next to your bed.

Enacfire G10 Review 1

Technical specifications

As far as battery life goes, the G10 lasted a solid 4-6 hours, with a total of around 25-30 hours between charges. There’s a USB-C port on the back of the case for charging, which was a pretty quick undertaking. No problems here.

Touted as 2-in-1 gaming and lifestyle wireless earbuds, the G10 has a lot going for it up until. On the one hand, you have an IPX8 waterproof rating, which is nice and useful for those who want to use them while exercising, but on the other hand, you have a pretty narrow focus for the gaming side of the product.

There’s no USB receiver to pair with, meaning you won’t be using it on your PlayStation or Xbox console. Instead, these are designed to be used with your mobile, offering a ‘role change’ feature switch between music and gaming and claims expertly tuned sound in each mode, with ultra-low latency in game mode.

Low-latency gaming audio

Low-latency mode provides 40% faster audio, enhancing your gaming experience. The low latency is well received and the quality of the sound has always been good, with decent bass, clear mids and great highs. I’m not sure if you’ll get any competitive advantage from these, but they’re a good pair of buds in this regard and make audio more in tune with what’s happening on your screen. They are perfect for something like PUBG Mobile where you could gain an advantage from hearing something ahead of someone else, even if it’s just a split second.
