The Review on Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Earbuds

Klipsch first launched its T5 True Wireless buttons in 2019 with the iconic Zippo-esque case. Followed in 2020 up with the Klipsch T5 II True Wireless earbuds, and we were lucky enough to get a pair from Klipsch for this review. Design

Klipsch has come a long way in improving the design of its true wireless headphones with the following:up to the T5 series. Not only are the buttons more compact, but the housing of the T5 II is also smaller. It now feels much better in your pocket, and even better, the buttons no longer stick out of your ears like the previous model.

Of course, the Zippo-inspired case is the real showstopper with the T5 II True Wireless earbuds. It has a classic refined style while feeling heavy and premium in the hand at the same time. Besides looking good, it also uses a USB-C charging port on the back and achterkant features three LED lights to indicate how much charge is left in the case.

There are really only two drawbacks to this beautiful case. First, despite its smaller size, it’s still quite hefty. You will definitely feel this in your pocket as you walk around. Second, it does not support wireless charging. That may not be such a big deal for some of you, but it’s worth mentioning. Comfort

Klipsch uses a patented oval ear tip on his earbuds and I absolutely love it. I always find that Klipsch make some of the most comfortable tops to wear, and this is a major reason why. User experience

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless earbuds use physical buttons to control music playback and answer calls. The buttons themselves work fine but I found they need a little more pressure to push than I would like. This resulted in me having to either hold the button while pressing the button button otherwise every time I pressed it I would just get stuck in my ear. So while it’s functional, I wouldn’t really call it ideal.

One of the features I was pleased to see that the T5 II True Wireless earbuds have added Transparency Mode, which allows outside noise to enter to be aware of your surroundings or carry on conversations. Unfortunately, I could barely tell a difference whether I had it turned on or off. I’d like to see them change this so that the “High” setting in the app allows more sound, as the “High” setting is more what I’d expect from “Low” in Transparency Mode.

Another handy one feature I would like to see a sensor added that automatically pauses or resumes your music when the earbuds are removed from your ear. This would be less of an issue if Transparency Mode worked better, but if I need to remove the buttons or a single button to make calls, it would be great if it would pause the number for me too.

In addition, the T5 II True Wireless earbuds work great. I never ran into problems and they stayed in my ears well. app

As someone who has used Klipsch headphones over the years, I’ve been waiting a long time for the Klipsch Connect app to launch. It seemed to be delayed for years, but I’m happy to say that it’s been out for a while and that it supports the Klipsch T5 II True Wireless.

As with most Bluetooth headphone apps, the Klipsch Connect app will help you upgrade the firmware for your headphones and change additional settings.

In this case, you can also adjust the equalizer, toggle Transparency mode on/off, and view the battery level of individual earbuds. I wish there was a way to view the battery level of the case as well, but checking the battery level of the buttons is more important. Sound quality

The T5 II True Wireless earbuds continue Klipsch’s tradition of clear, clear sound. These are perfect if you’re a fan of high-clarity headphones that lean towards clearer sound with more treble.

And while the T5 True Wireless has a nice bass sound, I wouldn’t recommend them to bass heads. Even after adjusting the EQ to boost the bass, I noticed the bass was stronger but still lacked some depth.

Either way, the T5 True Wireless earbuds have a balanced, clear sound with enough bass to satisfy most people. microphone

For all of us who work from home nowadays microphone quality for calls can be a big issue. I’m happy to report that the T5 II True Wireless has a fantastic microphone. My voice sounded clear and natural during conversations. Plus, I didn’t have to speak too loudly for the microphones to hear me. Battery life

Klipsch rates the T5 II True Wireless earbuds for eight hours of continuous listening and an additional 24 hours with the case. In my experience I could easily get through a week without charging and they certainly lived up according to Klipsch’s estimates.
Final Thoughts

Klipsch has made some significant improvements to the T5 II True Wireless headphones, making them a true successor to the original. While still lagging in some smart sommige features, especially ANC, the sound quality is comparable to other true wireless tops in the field with the bonus of a premium unique housing.

As long as you’re ok without ANC and some extra features, you can save a little money and get a great sounding pair of true wireless earbuds. The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Earbuds are currently available on Amazon for $139 in silver and $199 in gunmetal. Of course, you can also buy them from Klipsch’s website for $199 in both colors.
