However, I’ve always had one drawback with its phones: for UK users who don’t communicate Chinese and are familiar with Google providers they can be complicated. However, with that in mind, I’m extraordinarily pleased to see GearBest is stocking the Worldwide Edition of Xiaomi’s flagship Mi5s on its site. The Xiaomi Mi5s is in each sense of the term a flagship smartphone, with a spec simply able to take on the names we're more aware of in the UK: the Samsung Galaxy S7, the HTC 10, the OnePlus 3T, the LG G5, the Google Pixel, even the iPhone 7. And it prices less than half the price. We can't suggest it sufficient as a cheaper however simply as a good alternative. Screen bezels are nearly non-existent thanks to some trickery which we'll come on to later. Now we can see that those tiny bezels aren't so tiny anymore, with a sizable black border around the entire screen. Although this is the top tier version. Xiaomi has otherwise upped the base storage to 64GB whereas RAM stays static at 3GB. During initial set-up and use, the phone started overheating and became hot to the touch - not a reassuring sign. It did subside finally, with much less overheating and CPU throttling than many different devices available on the market right now. The increase in efficiency thanks to the Snapdragon 821 isn't noticeable in practice. Customers get an absolute high-end device with fast speed and limitless gaming efficiency buying a Xiaomi Mi5 as well as a Mi5s. Additionally, the Xiaomi Mi5s’s design including ultrasound fingerprint scanner and metal casing is more strong and long-lasting than the one of the Mi5.
