Samsung’s First Gaming Phone Could Ship With A Custom GPU

With the recent trend in gaming phones beginning a little less than a year ago with the release of the original Razer phone, it was announced yesterday that Samsung was actively developing its own gaming device.

Last June it was announced that Samsung is working on a new graphics processor for its low-end smartphones, which is likely to save costs in the long run.

Following Apple's success with its own GPUs, it appears that the South Korean giant is also considering high-end solutions that could be integrated into more powerful devices such as the first gaming handset.

Currently, very little information about the Samsung gaming device is known.

However, given the recent industry trends and features of the new Galaxy devices, a high-end processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory is highly likely.

This should be combined with a large infinity screen and possibly with impressive rear view cameras.
