TCL Brings The Alcatel 3V Smartphone To The United States

TCL Communication today announced the Alcatel 3V (2019), an affordable smartphone offered to several operators in North America. The Alcatel 3V (2019) is an Android device with a large HD + Full View 6.7-inch display, a 4000 mAh battery, an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6762 processor, two rear cameras with depth sensor and stereo speakers.

The smartphone will also come with Google Assistant preinstalled. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. The processor is supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of external storage. It’s pretty weak, but it’s expandable via microSD up to 32GB, giving you what’s today an entry-level 64GB internal storage size. The phone will launch with Android 9 Pie.

The manufacturer claims that its fast Pump Express + charge is capable of generating up to six hours of battery life in just 20 minutes. There is also an integrated battery saving mode and a Smart Manager function to better manage power consumption. Charging is done via USB-C. The Alcatel 3V (2019) will soon arrive in Canada on Freedom Mobile and in the United States on Metro by T-Mobile.

No official pricing has been published yet. So we do not know how “affordable” really means.
