Tesla's Model 3 sedan has won five stars in the American automobile standard test from NHTSA, a vehicle safety agency in the United States.
This agency is investigating accidents involving other Tesla models raising questions about the operation of automobile manufacturers' autopilot systems.
The company 's shares rose 1.7 percent to $ 304.27 on Thursday trading.
The authorities started a five-star safety assessment program in 1993 and the Tesla X and S models, which were subject to at least one survey of NHTSA, received record highs.
This evaluation provides information on collision protection and rollover safety of new cars.
Tesla's ability to achieve the model 3 sedan production goal has focused on that stock in the past. The company recently confirmed the existence of delivery bottleneck and promised prompt response.
