Travelstop brings business travel management to SMEs and start-up companies in Southeast Asia – News

Travelstop is a startup company in Singapore and aims to bring the benefits of business travel management to small and medium enterprises in Southeast Asia and other small and medium enterprises.

The company was founded in November 2017 by three entrepreneurs who started in Singapore startup TravelMob purchased by HomeAway in 2013. Prior to TravelMob, I cooperated in Prashant Kirtane (CEO), Vijay Aggarwal (CTO), Altaf Dhamani (CPO) – Yahoo South East Asia. They all moved to HomeAway. After that HomeAway was bought for $ 3.9 billion by Expedia in 2015 and Travelstop is the first independent business to follow this period.

It is a great experience for young Southeast Asian companies. He made up a team of 12 people who already had vacancies.

In an interview Kirtane told the news that 90% of the business trip to Asia is not managed. This area is amazing as it accounts for 40% of the world's $ 1.2 trillion business travel market. He and his co-founders remember the pain of unmanaged or strict travel and expense systems and promised to resolve at Travelstop.

According to Kirtane, Slack is a design model with features such as clean user interface, automatic sending report, flexible travel policy, data analysis, etc., the team can analyze travel expenses. This service includes desktop applications and mobile applications.

All this is still lacking in Southeast Asia – at least at prices that might appeal to SMEs and startups …
