Best Bose Headphones list
We’ve tested many headphones over the years, so to make your decision easier, we’ve put together this helpful guide to rank the best Bose headphones you can buy.
Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700
One of the best noise-cancelling headphones
If you’re searching for a new pair of noise-canceling headphones, we recommend the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700; they may not be quite better than the Sony WH-1000XM4s in terms of battery life and price; however, they’re still a brilliant pair of over-ear cans. Traditionally, noise-canceling headphones are designed to block out the ambient noise around you so that you can listen to your music more clearly (or catch some shut-eye on a busy train) – and with the right headphones, it’s effective.
However, when you make a phone call, the person you’re talking to can still hear everything that’s going on around you, reducing the sound quality of your calls. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 addresses this by applying noise reduction to phone calls and music, a great feature a few other brands have mastered. So how do they sound? The sound quality is undeniably good, with a vibrant, vibrant character and well-balanced sound image. Overall, Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 sound great, look great, and the noise reduction is out of this world, thus making them the best Bose headphones you can buy.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II
Noise-canceling headphone for voice-assistant fans
An almost identical product to the already-excellent Bose QuietComfort 35, but updated for 2018 with Google Assistant, the QC 35 II is an excellent choice if you want to spend just under the 700s. As they have only recently been used by the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, these are the headphones to watch Black Friday and Cyber Monday; we expect these still brilliant cans to get some great discounts during the sales period.
With Google Assistant built-in, you get the class-leading noise reduction Bose is known for, good sound quality and incredible comfort, plus a handy assistant to answer any questions you might have while traveling. For these reasons, Bose QuietComfort 35 II is an excellent headset for travelers and commuters, with the right balance of features that will satisfy most mainstream listeners. Overall, this is one of the best Bose headphones.
Bose QuietComfort 25
Excellent value for money
Launched in 2015, the Bose QuietComfort 25 was once the best noise-cancelling headphones we’ve ever used, with a well-balanced and finely-tuned soundstage. When the noise cancellation was turned on, we never felt as immersed and concentrated as we did when we made the QC25 sound in our ears – but that was a few years ago, and time has moved on ever since. Bose has released not just one sequel to these headphones, but two: the QC35 and QC35 II with built-in Google Assistant, both of which we’d recommend above the QC25 – not to mention the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700.
Still, if you don’t mind using these older, wired headphones, the QC25s are always a brilliant set of cans that deliver over 35 hours of outstanding noise-canceling performance with one AAA battery. And nowadays, you can find them for relatively cheap, which is worth considering when making your purchase decision. Overall, this is one of the best Bose headphones.

Bose Soundsport In-ear Headphones
For athletes and gym professionals
If you’re looking for a smaller option that fits snugly in your ear, Bose Soundsport may be the choice for you. These wall-mounted headphones are wired and fit in the affordable price range. They’re lightweight, come with three customizable ear tips, and have that fantastic Bose sound. Deep, rounded bass mixed with clear midrange and treble is music for your ears. You’ll have trouble finding other headphones in this price range that will match their comfort and quality. Sweat-resistant technology makes them great for performing workouts, and they won’t be ruined.
Bose QuietControl 30
In-ear noise cancellation
Noise reduction doesn’t have to mean you have to wear bulky over-ear headphones with large ear cushions – you can block out the world with compact earbuds, too. The BoseQuiet Control 30s bring noise reduction to the wireless neck button, competing with some of its older QuietComfort models – impressive for small ear tips. They’re not the best-sounding earbuds in the world, and they’re a little on the bassy side, which can prevent you from hearing the subtle details in your music.
This means that the QC 30’s are probably not attractive to audiophiles, but for runners who rely on pounding bass to follow their training, they can be an ideal match. The neckband style can also be divisive – some people love it, and some people hate it, but there’s no doubt it provides a level of security that real wireless earphones can’t offer. Noise-canceling earbuds have come a long way since the QuietControl 30 came on the market, but they’re still one of the best Bose headphones.
Bose SoundSport Free
True wireless earbuds from Bose
Bose SoundSport Free is an excellent sounding pair of genuine wireless earphones with an ultra-reliable connection. With an IPX4 water-resistance rating, they can easily withstand the abuses of work-out, and they sound great – as long as you’re listening in a quiet environment. This is because of their open design that allows ambient noise to pass through the earplugs; this design also means they don’t offer the most secure fit.
Battery life is good, and a recent update means connectivity is better than ever. There are other genuine wireless earplugs that we recommend via SoundSport Free, such as the Sony WF-1000XM3 or the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1. Still, if they are heavily discounted compared to Black Friday, they may be worth a look.
Bose Soundsport Wireless
Wireless option for athletes and gym lovers
These are headphones that are excellent for any workout or sports activity. Wireless headphones are better for maneuverability and convenience on the go. They come with sweat-resistant technology to make them work while you sweat. The 6-hour battery life is the same as many other sport style headphones. A 15-minute charge time gives you an extra hour of battery life.
You get button and volume control with in-line technology located just below the right ear. StayHear+ technology stays in place, and tips provide superior comfort. Get more control of sound with EQ and the Bose Connect app. Overall, this is one of the best Bose headphones on the market.
