### Chrome

#### Import bookmarks

1. Click on the three vertical dots menu in the top right corner and go to **Bookmarks>****Import bookmarks and settings**
2. Then select the installed browser to directly import the bookmarks, or**select the HTML file on your PC**During direct import, you can also select the type of data such as browser history, bookmarks, passwords and search engines.  click on **Import** when you have finished importing the data.

#### Export bookmarks

1. Click on the menu with three vertical dots again and go to **Bookmarks>** **Bookmark management**
2. Go to **To organize**  **Export bookmarks to HTML file**An HTML file is ready for download.

### Firefox

#### Import bookmarks

1. Click on it in the top bar **Show bookmarks** button and select **Show all bookmarks**You can also use **Ctrl + Shift + B** for this.
2. Then click on it **Import and backup** menu at the top and click **Import bookmarks from HTML** to import them from an HTML file, or click **Import data from another browser** to select another browser to directly import data.

#### Export bookmarks

Of the same **Import and backup** menu, click on it **Export bookmarks to HTML** option and save the HTML.

### Opera

#### Import bookmarks

1. Open the Opera menu in the top left corner and click **Settings**You can also use the shortcut **Alt + P**
2. Go to the here **Browser** section in the left menu and click on it **Import bookmarks and settings** button    below the **Default browser** column.
3. You can now select a supported browser from the drop-down list or '**Bookmarks HTML file**Option to import from HTML file.

#### Export bookmarks

Unfortunately, **Opera does not support export feature**However, you can **Import and export bookmarks** Opera extension to get this functionality.  Install and open up the extension and click on it **Export** button    to download the bookmark HTML file.

### Microsoft Edge

#### Import bookmarks

1. Click the three horizontal dots menu in the top right corner and select **Settings**
2. Now click on it **Import from another browser** button    below the **Import favorites and other info** button
3. Then you can select a supported browser or click it **Import from file** button    to import from an HTML file.

#### **Export bookmarks**

Go to the "**Import your info**"Menu again and click on it"**Export to file** button to download the HTML file.

Note: the export is **only available in Windows 10 Creators Update**If you haven't updated Windows 10 to Creators Update, you can use this third-party tool **Manage Edge** to export favorites.

### Internet Explorer

#### Import bookmarks

1. Click on the **Star** icon in the top right corner and click on the little upside down arrow next to it **Add to favorites** buttonClick here on the **Import and export** option.
2. A wizard will open upYou can choose from here **Import from another browser** or **Import from a file** option and follow the wizard to import data.

#### Export bookmarks

1. Open the same "**Import and export**"Wizard and select the"**Export to a file**option.
2. You can do that on the next page **select the type of data to export**, including favorites, feeds, and cookies.  Then click on **The next** to complete the process and download the HTML file.

### Vivaldi

#### Import bookmarks

1. Click on the Vivaldi menu button in the top left corner and select **Import bookmarks and settings** of the **File** option.
2. From the drop-down menu you can **select a supported browser or an HTML file**Interestingly, Vivaldi also supports importing data from Opera, although Opera does not support export by default feature

#### Export bookmarks

To export bookmarks, go to the **File** menu again and select '**Export bookmarks**To download the HTML file.

#### Wrap up

Try while importing data **automatically import from an installed browser instead of an HTML file**This way you can import more data including cookies, bookmarks, history and saved passwords.
