Just yesterday, Vivo sent invitations for a press event in India scheduled for September 6th. At the event, the company is expected to unveil its next-generation mid-range smartphone with a fingerprint sensor Vivo V11. Before the release of V11, the Mark launched a new budget smartphone in the country called the Vivo Y83 Pro. The handset comes as a successor to the Vivo Y83 (first impression), which was launched in May this year.
Coming to the specs, the Vivo Y83 Pro offers a full view 6.22-inch display with a notch, which contains the selfie camera and other sensors. The phone has a dual main camera configuration at the rear, including a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary snapper. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel shooter.
The Vivo Y83 Pro has been offered at a competitive price of 15,990 Rs. The phone is available for pre-order in the country’s main traditional stores and will soon be on sale. Speaking of other specifications, the Vivo Y83 Pro contains 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The device starts Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Power the handset is a 3,260mAh battery. Unfortunately, we do not have information about the Y83 Pro SoC at the moment, but it should be a MediaTek processor.
