The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro gaming headsets are mostly focused on three things: positional audio, clear communication, and getting rid of noise. At the professional level of esports, these things are very important to keep a competitive edge.
This new Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is one of the best PC gaming headsets on the market. It is better than its predecessors because it has TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers, a removable HyperClear Supercardioid mic, Ultra-soft FlowKnit memory foam ear cushions, passive noise cancellation, and THX Spatial Audio for surround sound.

Razer says that a single charge of the BlackShark V2 Pro battery will last up to 24 hours, and we found that to be mostly true. In our tests, the headset lasted 24 hours and 40 minutes on a single charge and had a consistent output of 75dB. If you listen at a lower volume than that, you may get even better performance. Synapse also has a “sleep mode” that turns the headset off after a certain amount of time without use. Over 24 hours is a great result, but you may find that it lasts even longer.
When you hear sounds like this in a game, explosions and gunfire will seem louder than they would otherwise. But even though the added emphasis is important, it’s not so loud that it drowns out other sounds that are also important. Games don’t usually have enough layers of sound at once to make this kind of amplified sound a problem. You can still hear footsteps coming around a corner in Valorant, but you might have to listen a little more closely.
