The JBL Flip 4 is a portable Bluetooth speaker that comes in many different colors to match your personal style. It’s a small, light device that lets you take your favorite songs with you wherever you go. You can attach it to your bag while you’re out and about by using the carrying strap, which you can remove. It’s even rated IPX7 for water resistance, which means you can submerge it for 30 minutes in up to a meter of water.
At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be much that makes the Flip 4 different from the Flip 3. This is because, other than a few small design changes, like making the phone button into a triangle for pause and play, there isn’t much difference between the two. The Flip 4 still has the classic cylindrical shape and passive bass radiators on each end, just like the rest of JBL’s speakers. Still, there is one big difference between this and the old model that makes this a good upgrade: this one is waterproof.

Where to get JBL Flip 4?
Even though the fabric that wraps around the speaker looks pretty much the same as it did on the old model, it is now completely waterproof. It’s IPX7 waterproof, which means that it can be submerged for 30 minutes in up to one meter of water and is also sealed against dust, dirt, and sand. So it was easy to take this to the beach.
We could play with it in the sand and in the water, then wipe it clean, put it in my bag, and keep going. If you have a Flip 3 and have never dropped it in water or even had it near water, this probably isn’t a big deal for you. However, it’s nice to know that if you drop it in the pool or the ocean, you won’t have to replace the speaker.
