The Galaxy Watch 5 series only works with Android phones, just like the Apple Watch only works with iPhones. Samsung’s newest smartwatches operate on One UI Watch 4.5, which is based on Google’s Wear OS 3.5. To use them, you need a device with more than 1.5GB RAM and Android 8.0 or later. You can sync the Watch 5 Pro with Android phones that aren’t made by Samsung, but other functionalities, like ECG measurements, only work with Samsung phones, according to a company representative.
The tough Watch 5 Pro has a 45mm titanium casing that comes in black or gray, as well as a matching D-Buckle Sport band with a magnetic clasp that folds. The device with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi costs $449.99, while the one with LTE costs $499.99. Samsung lent me the gray Bluetooth/Wi-Fi model and a Galaxy S21 FE smartphone so I could write this evaluation.

Where to get SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Pro 5 smartwatch?
The regular Galaxy Watch 5 has more options, with a Graphite (black) or Silver aluminum case that is either 40mm or 44mm. The 40mm Watch 5 also comes in Pink Gold, while the 44mm version is also available in Sapphire. (blue). The 1.4-inch, 450-by-450-pixel AMOLED screen on the Pro model is just as bright and gorgeous as the one on the 44mm Watch 5. The Pro’s titanium case goes higher than the screen to make it more durable.
Between the sapphire crystal glass and the case is a 0.1-inch concave black bezel. If the watch falls on its face, it will land on the titanium ridge and not the glass. The glass on the Pro is stronger and less likely to scratch than the glass on the Watch 5 and the model from previous year. Samsung says it is twice as robust as the outer layer of the display on the Watch 4 series.
Samsung says the Watch 5 Pro is 1.8 by 1.8 by 0.4 inches (HWD), however my calipers show that the official depth (thickness) figure is misleadingly cut off. Samsung says the Watch 5 Pro is 10.5mm (0.4 inches) thick, but my calipers say it’s actually 14.39mm (0.5 inches). (0.6 inches). The same is true with the regular Watch 5, which is 13.01mm (0.5 inches) long instead of the 9.8mm indicated. (almost 0.4 inches).
