Have you ever worn a headset that was so loud it was almost impossible to hear? The Asus ROG Delta S Wireless is a good example. These headphones don’t look like much, but they can get pretty loud. They sound great in games and music, but there’s something a little off about them that makes me use them with caution.

The ROG Delta S is the first speaker from Asus that can connect to both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth devices. This means you can use it with a wide range of devices and switch between them without having to re-pair. No matter which choice you choose, the range isn’t great. You’ll get interference about 10 to 15 meters away from your computer, and you’ll lose connection altogether about 20 meters away.

Asus ROG Delta S Wireless review: Design

I’m not a big fan of the style of old-school gamers whose headphones have big ear cups and are mostly black. Also, the Asus ROG Delta S Wireless doesn’t stand out because it doesn’t look very interesting. But I like that Asus has a slightly different take on how things look. It gave this gaming headset ear cups and pads in the shape of a D, which stands for “Delta.”
The gaming headset is more comfy because of its shape, but it was already pretty comfortable thanks to its soft headband foam, light weight (318g), and soft, one-inch-thick ear pads. Even though the ear foam pads are thick, they curve to the side of your head so that sound doesn’t leak out and there is enough passive noise reduction when you need to focus. You can buy this headphone from its official website
Asus ROG Delta S Wireless: Comfort
The leatherette is thin, but it is soft and flexible. But when it’s hot, your sweat could make the fit too tight. The Delta S, on the other hand, has a second set of ear covers. This second set is mostly made of mesh cloth, but the insides of the cushions are still leatherette to keep out noise. Both feel good, but we chose leatherette because it was the most comfortable.
Asus ROG Delta S Wireless review: Sound and Mic Quality

It has 50mm drivers that make great sound. The soundstage is especially good because the drivers are farther away from your ears because of the thick earcups. The mids were nice and sharp, and the highs were bright and twinkly. Even though this headset has a good amount of bass, it sometimes felt a little hollow and lacked power and force. The Armoury Crate program makes it possible to have virtual surround sound, and it does make a difference. When it was on, it gave a much better sense of where enemies were when playing Sniper Elite V. It also let more of the bass from the Delta S Wireless come through.

You’ll also get Asus’s good Armoury Crate software, which lets you do a lot of cool things like turn on surround sound, change EQ settings, and even add reverb to the sound, which is a rare feature.
Asus ROG Delta S Wireless: Battery Life
In wifi mode, the Delta S is supposed to last for 25 hours. Not bad, and I got 31.5 hours of use out of it when it came out of the box with 85% charge. If you went from 100%, you might get closer to 40 hours. Even though the volume was set very low, that’s a lot more than what was promised. The Delta S Wireless also charges quickly, so when the batteries do run out, you shouldn’t be out of action for too long.
Price and availability
All of this is backed up by a good battery life of about 25 hours. So, it looks good so far, right? Well, it’s not perfect. The general sound balance is off, and ASUS’s Armoury Crate software for PC isn’t very good. There’s nothing that you’d consider a deal-breaker, but with a price tag of $299 AUD, there’s a lot of audio gear out there to choose from.
Final words
The Asus ROG Delta S Wireless is a great wireless gaming headset that feels great, sounds great, and works with a lot of different devices. Connectivity is as easy as plugging it in, and the 25-hour battery life gives you plenty of time to use it. Just keep in mind that the mic sounds a little thin and that the software doesn’t have a lot of features.

faqs
The Delta S Wireless is a good choice if you want a headset that works with a wide range of devices. You’re looking for a good microphone: The Delta S Wireless may have great fit and sound, but the microphone is a little small, so you may want to look elsewhere for better communications.
Noise-cancelling technology is not built into the Asus ROG Delta S Wireless headset. It does, however, have an open back that helps block out some of the noise.
