The Magicteam white noise maker lets you listen to 40 different sounds to help you relax. Most other sound makers don’t have as many sounds of rain, running water, and waves as this one does. It also has five tracks of soothing music that kids may find peaceful. Very fair price, and it’s light and easy to carry. It doesn’t make as much outside noise as other white noise machines because the speaker doesn’t have bass and the loudest setting isn’t that loud.
It came in a recyclable cardboard box, and the top and bottom of the gadget were protected by foam padding. On the one hand, that probably means trash, unless you’re the kind of person who keeps boxes to protect tech when you’re not using it.
On the other hand, it’s less likely to get broken in shipping because of the safe packing. This makes it less possible that it will be thrown out too soon.

For the Magicteam to work, it needs to be plugged into a normal USB power outlet with 5 volts. If you plug it into a USB port on a computer or laptop, it will also work. It comes with a cord that is 1.5 meters long, which is a good length and long enough for me to reach a wall outlet from both my bed and desk.
The Magicteam is easy to use because it only has six buttons on the top: a “on” button, a “timer” button, “volume up” and “volume down” buttons, and “track left” and “track right” buttons. The auto-off timer is a well-thought-out tool. You can let it run all night if you want, or you can set a timer for 1, 2, or 3 hours. We also like the way the volume goes up and down. This helps if sudden changes in sound wake you up. And if you’re trying to sleep and don’t want any LEDs on in your bedroom, you can turn them all off by holding down the timer button for a long time. This is something that some people will like because it is easy to use.
