Anker is probably one of the most well-known names in charging technology, and we like this single-port PD charger for a few reasons. Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology has made chargers a fraction of the size of silicon-based chargers that were small when they were made only a few years ago. Anker’s new Nano II chargers use next-generation GaN II technology, which sends energy more quickly and works at twice the frequency of the first generation of GaN.

The Aukey Omnia PA-B4, which is very slim and light, is at the top of our list. It works well and has two USB-C ports that give you just enough power to use an ultrabook while charging a Nintendo Switch, a cell phone, or even a second laptop (slowly and only when you’re not using it).
Even though it is rated for 65 watts, the 3.65-ounce Aukey Omnia PA-B4 achieved a maximum sustained rate of 72.6 watts (19.2V/3.78A) in our tests. After 20 minutes of that maximum, the temperature reached a steamy 139 degrees Fahrenheit, but the charger was much cooler at 120 degrees, which was the second coolest of all the chargers we tried when run at 64 degrees.

Most new mobile devices charge over USB-C, but there are still a lot of devices that use micro USB, like cheap Android tablets and Raspberry Pis that are older than the Pi 4. You can buy a USB-C to micro USB adapter, but most of us have USB-A to micro USB or USB-A to USB-C cords in our drawers. Even though this GaN charger is bigger and heavier than the 45W or 65W single-port Anker chargers, it has a lot more to give with its three ports. Each of the two USB-C ports can send 65W, but they can’t both do it at the same time, since the maximum output is 65W. The USB-A port can handle up to 22.5W of power.
It is the smallest USB-C wall charger with more than one port, and it only weighs 132g, which is the same as the UGreen Nexode 65W 3-Port USB-C Wall Charger. We suggest this charger for people in the UK, but the U.S. model is also a good choice and has a plug that can be folded.
