The display of the Watch 5 Pro is made of sapphire glass, and after having been worn for an entire year, it has no scratches. The physically revolving dial has been replaced with a concave transition from the glass up to the edge of the casing. This transition allows your finger to swipe up and down to create an effect that is analogous to the bezel on a traditional watch. In comparison to the flat glass found on other models of the Galaxy Watch, I think this design for the finger guide is an improvement. Even if the mechanism is entirely software-enabled at this point, it does provide some sense of resolution to those who enjoyed the original spinning bezel.
The 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display is very stunning, featuring clear lettering, vibrant colours, and a touchscreen interface that works without a hitch. It is not uncommon for input delays and lag to occur when using robust and outdoorsy smartwatches. Not the case with the 5 Pro; all taps and swipes have worked without a hitch, and I am particularly liking the several default watch face possibilities.
