In terms of price, the ViewSonic VG1655 is a pretty decent portable monitor. It has a stylish and modern design and some features that you don’t see on many portable monitors, like a mini-joystick device. In many ways, the ViewSonic VG1655 is also a solid portable monitor that does exactly what you need it to do. The screen on the ViewSonic VG1655 monitor is 16 inches and has a Full HD display of 1920 by 1080 pixels. This is pretty normal for a small screen that costs this much. Because it has an aspect ratio of 16:9, you can use the monitor in either portrait or landscape mode.
This is one of the most important features that shooters should look for in a monitor. One of my pet peeves is when a monitor is described as portable but can’t really be used in the field. The fact that the ViewSonic VG1655 is an In-Plane Switching monitor will make you very happy if you want to use it for editing.
Anyone who doesn’t know what “in-plane switching” (IPS) technology means should know that it is a method that basically makes the picture on the computer very clear. Graphic designers use it a lot. The ViewSonic VG1655 may seem small to you because its screen is only 16 inches, based on the type of portable monitor you are used to. On the other hand, these sixteen inches are totally see-through. You can be sure that the monitor will work well in bright sunlight since it has a frame rate of 60Hz and a backlight rating of 250 cd/m2. This movable monitor has a stand built right in, so you can use it anywhere as long as you have a table to put it on.

Where to Get ViewSonic VG1655 Monitor?
The ViewSonic VG1655 is not very outstanding when it comes to watching multimedia content but it does have certain capabilities. It is excellent for watching videos on YouTube due to the fact that it has a screen that is 15.6 inches in size and a resolution of 1080p; nevertheless, it does not achieve a brightness level that is sufficient to prevent glare in environments that are well-lit. Given that it has a low contrast ratio, it gives the impression of being grey when blacks are viewed in environments that are dark. Because of this, blacks have a greyish appearance.
What the ViewSonic VG1655 has to offer in terms of gaming is merely satisfactory. Due to the fact that it is a portable monitor, it is not designed for this particular application, and we do not advise you to use it for any activity that is specifically related to gaming. Motion looks to be fuzzy, and it only supports a refresh rate of 60Hz. Additionally, it does not support variable refresh rate (VRR), which is a higher refresh rate. If, on the other hand, you still want to use it for gaming, you will find that the degree of input latency is significantly decreased.
