We were impressed by Dell’s elegant and seductive 4K Dell Ultrasharp webcam, but $199 is a steep price to pay for a webcam, especially considering that the majority of widely used video conferencing systems only offer 720p or 1080p as the maximum quality. The Ultrasharp camera now has a less expensive, lower-res, more ordinary brother in the form of the Dell Pro webcam, if you’re a remote worker affected by the epidemic and have a limited budget for a home office.
A 2K QHD 1440p/30 fps camera with a 78-degree field of view, HDR, and a 4x digital zoom is the Dell Pro webcam. A built-in microphone, a monitor clip with a tripod attachment point, and AI auto-framing—which tracks your face as you move to maintain your centre of focus—are among its features. The Dell Pro Webcam shares many features with its 4K sister, including a big, round lens coated in glass, a detachable magnetic lens cap, and a cylinder-shaped casing made of gunmetal grey.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]The Dell Pro webcam is somewhat narrower and wider than the Dell Ultrasharp webcam, measuring 3.6 inches long by 1.73 inches in diameter including the lens cover. That’s where the parallels largely end, though. The Dell Pro is composed of plastic and has a non-detachable USB 2.0 cable, but the Dell Ultrasharp has an all-aluminum shell and premium features including a detachable USB 3.0 cable. Additionally, a monitor clip with a threaded tripod mounting hole is integrated inside the Dell Pro.

Where to Get Dell WB5023 Webcam?
The Dell Pro Webcam may be the webcam for you if you want something that just works. Put this webcam on your display, put it in, and go about your video-conferencing-twitch-streaming-selfie-taking day, and the Dell Pro Webcam will deliver high-definition, superbly balanced photos with generally accurate colouring in almost every lighting situation. For most people, the Dell Pro Webcam is an outstanding webcam, but it is not for everyone. If you, like me, wish to manually fine-tune the image to your exact specifications, Dell’s Peripheral Manager software lacks detailed capabilities.
To achieve an overexposed look, I switched off all of the lights and monitors in front of me while keeping the backdrop lighting on. This is actually a pretty bad lighting scenario; it just appears that way because the Dell Pro Webcam was able to adequately light my face and torso. While the image has some typical graininess, it isn’t too grainy, especially on my face unlike the overexposed images shot with the Logitech C920s or C930e.
