Traditional outdoor floodlights are great for lighting up driveways, pools, and any other part of your property because they can send out a wide beam of bright light. Most floodlights have a motion sensor that turns them on when they sense movement. If you want to know who or what turned on your lights, you’ll need a smart floodlight camera. We tested the best floodlight cameras on the market to see how easy they were to set up and how much peace of mind they gave.
We set up the devices and then connected them to our Wi-Fi network so we could test their different features. Most of the models we tested had to be hardwired into an existing light box, but one was powered by a small solar panel.

What is Floodlight camera?
A smart floodlight camera is one unit that has both an outdoor floodlight and an outdoor security camera. These devices connect to your home network through Wi-Fi, so you can use your phone or, in some cases, your voice to control them.
Most are made to last and can be used in any kind of weather. But not every floodlight cam has the same functions. Some more expensive models, for example, can detect and recognise things on their own.
What is the purpose of Floodlight camera?
Some of the benefits that help users save money over time are that they use less electricity, need less maintenance, and last longer. Also, changes in weather or temperature don’t affect LED flood lights. They are the safest way to light a room because they don’t make heat.

Where is the best place to put a flood light camera?
Floodlight Cam works great when the motion sensor is about 9 feet above the ground and parallel to the ground. From this height, your Floodlight Cam can see a large area and record high-definition video of people’s faces. When your Floodlight Cam is set up too low, your Optimal Motion Zone gets smaller.
