The “Best Massage Gun Under $100” can be a valuable addition to your pre and post-workout routine, effectively aiding in muscle recovery and preventing post-exercise soreness. These innovative devices employ rapid pulses to target your muscles, delivering the advantages of a professional massage within the confines of your home. Utilizing percussive therapy, a technique harnessed by the “Best Massage Gun Under $100,” these tools rely on vibrations to alleviate muscle tension and tight
Percussive therapy helps with aches, sore muscles, knots, stress, and other pains. Percussive treatment and massage guns can also help people with hard jobs, jobs that keep them on their feet all day, or jobs where they spend a lot of time sitting at a desk.
There isn’t much scientific proof that they work, and they can be loud and expensive. But many people find a massage gun to be helpful, especially after a run or a long day at work. Christopher Hicks, MD, clinical partner of orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation medicine at University of Chicago Medicine, said, “If it makes you feel better, go ahead and use it as long as it doesn’t hurt you or your wallet.”

We all know that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but when I took the Ruisibaitata out of the box, I was impressed. It comes with an easy-to-carry case that is both light and strong enough. Other cases were either nonexistent or so thin that they felt cheap. And unlike some of its rivals, the Ruisibaitata’s attachments came in their own mesh bag with a drawstring to keep them safe. It comes with a manual, but I didn’t even need to look at it to set it up and start using it.
It has 12 different massage heads, which is more than any other massage gun I tried. This means it can target any kind of pain or soreness in any muscle group. Even though it came with the same four standard heads as every other model, I fell in love with one of them, which I call the “curved finger.” (The official name, according to Ruisibaitata’s website, is “thumb head.”) It was perfect for working on my jaw and facial muscles, which were very tight and painful because my jaw muscles were acting up. It was shaped like a cylinder with a slightly curved, flat edge.

I didn’t need more than 20 speeds. But I would have liked to have more than eight heads to choose from, especially since the Ruisibaitata, which is like the Hardnex in a lot of ways, including how it feels and how much it costs, comes with 12 heads. I also wish this product came with a mesh bag to store all the heads, because I was afraid that when I opened the carrying case, they would all fall out.
As for how loud it was and how well it worked, it was about the same as the other products I tried. The Hardnex got extra points for making it easy to figure out what the display numbers meant (vibrational speed and battery charge), but that wasn’t enough to make me love it anywhere near as much as the Ruisibaitata.

Urikar Pro 2

Brand | Urikar |

Weight | 2.16 pounds |
Battery Life | 2600mAh battery, 10 hours of continuous use |
Charging Time | 2.5 hours |
Price | $199.99 |
One of its features is a motor that can handle up to 25 to 30 pounds of stall force. Now, this may not be enough to give you a super-intense, deep-to-the-bone percussion massage, but it’s still one of the best you can get for well under $100 (with the above promo code).
We love the amplitude of this gun, but the 15 mm stroke length is a bit of an exaggeration. We used a digital caliper to make sure it was 12mm. The Urikar website says that the percussion range goes up to a whopping 3600 ppm. That is a lot. The thing is, it wouldn’t be possible for a gun with a 12mm stroke length to go up to 3600 ppm.
The Good
- Batteries that are strong and last a long time
- Easy to use and not too heavy
- Six different massage heads are included.
- Quiet operation; intensity levels can be changed
The Bad
- Some users may think it’s too expensive.
Sportneer Elite D9

Brand | Sportneer |
Model | Elite D9 |
Weight | 2.09 pounds |
Battery Life | 2600mAh battery, 10 hours of continuous use |
Charging Time | 2.5 hours |
Price | $149.99 |
It costs $129.99 in stores, but if you use the AFDKOF coupon code at checkout, you can get it for $110—a 15% discount. We know it’s still over $100, but we think that’s a small price to pay for one of the best Hypervolt alternatives out there.
It can play percussion at 6 different speeds. For the range, this is just right, and it doesn’t have over 20 speeds like some other cheap guns do. Also, the stall force is pretty good. The most pressure that can be put on the device is 35 pounds, which is available on the top gear. This is more than you get with, say, Urikar above or Taotronics below, and it’s enough for the average person.
The Good
- Batteries that are strong and last a long time
- Easy to use and not too heavy
- Five different massage heads are included.
- Quiet operation
- Adjustable intensity levels
The Bad
- Might not have as many features as other massage guns
