Oculus Quest 2 Official Carrying Case

Specification
Package Dimensions | 13.11 x 9.76 x 4.69 inches |
Item Weight | 1.7 pounds |
Manufacturer | GAGITERVR |
Country of Origin | China |
The official case is at the top of the list for a reason. Most cases are made for the first Quest, but this one was made for the Quest 2, which is a bit smaller. The official Quest 2 Carrying Case is great because it is small and stylish. Most of the time, it will be easy to keep all your accessories safe, and there’s room for everything.
Put your headset, controllers, charging cable, and power adapter away so they won’t get lost. Everything will stay in place thanks to the custom inlay. Plus, there is room for the Elite Strap, with or without the battery. But keep in mind that the Oculus 2 Carrying Case isn’t hard-shelled or very well-padded, so you might need to be a little more careful when you take on the road.
Pros
- Stylish
- Fits everything
- Made specifically for the Quest 2
Cons
- Pricier than most alternatives
- Not built for rugged travel

The best Quest 2 accessories aren’t cheap, so people who just bought a headset will find that their costs quickly add up. So, the KISLANE Carrying Case comes into play: It’s a cheap, simple alternative to some of the other Quest 2 carrying cases on the market. It costs less than half as much as some of the other options.
Since it doesn’t come with lens protectors, you’ll have to buy a pair of lens protectors separately. It doesn’t have room for the Oculus Elite Strap either, so you’ll have to cram it in or carry it separately. Still, it has a pocket for your cords on the inside and an elastic strap to keep your headset in place.

CASEMATIX Hard Case with Oculus Quest 2

Specification
Product Dimensions | 16 x 14 x 6 inches |
Item Weight | 3 pounds |
Manufacturer | CASEMATIX |
Type of item | Electronics |
The CASEMATIX Hard Case is built like a tank, which is different from most other Quest 2 cases. Because it is lined with a thick layer of protective foam, this case is great for people who travel a lot. It does, however, offer a unique level of customization that is very useful but also requires the owner to do a little bit of work.
The Quest 2 and its accessories don’t come with the foam shapes cut out for them. Instead, you have to cut the shapes out of the layer of foam yourself. The outside of the case is 16 inches by 6 inches, and the inside is 14 inches by 10.75 inches by 4 inches. This is the best choice if you want top-of-the-line safety and a customizable interior.
Pros
- The best protection
- Great for travel
- Can customize to fit your accessories
Cons
- Pricey
- Not very portable
FAQs
Is Meta Quest 2 worth it?
The Meta Quest 2 is the most popular and easy-to-use VR headset on the market right now. This is the best VR headset for most people because it has a simple and comfortable design, a good battery life, great software, and a price that most people can afford.
Is Meta Quest 2 128GB enough?
The 64GB Quest 2 headset has been mine for two years (Meta discontinued this model in 2021 and upgraded the base model to 128GB of storage). I’ve decided that if you only play games occasionally, the 128GB version is more than enough. Even though I only have 64GB, I have 40 games and 12GB left over.
What can damage a Quest 2?
Sunlight can damage the VR headset, and the screen will show broken pixels. Also, clean the lenses well so that the picture is always clear. Here, we’ll explain how to take care of the Meta Quest 2 VR headset.
Is the Quest 2 fragile?
Most of the time, the outer shells are made of strong plastic, which may get dents and scratches but can handle most accidents. In other ways, though, they can be very fragile.
