Best shower speaker: Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 3. This water-resistant speaker is perfect for shower music. It hangs on a shower caddy thanks to its hook. It’s also perfect for bathing since it’s IP67 dust and water resistant. So it won’t fall into the suds, the manufacturer claims it can float.

If you catch a deal, you may find this speaker in numerous colors at a lower price. This speaker’s sound quality is worth the extra cost, especially for audiophiles. It readily fills your bathroom with 360-degree sound. Voices and lead instruments sound accurate out of the box, and the bass boom is perfect for EDM and hip-hop. Bose SoundLink Flex Best Shower Speakers are cheaper. This shower-proof Bluetooth speaker delivers amazing sound. Like the Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 3, it’s IP67 dust and water resistant and floats. It has a strap for hanging from a shower caddy. In a slippery setting, it can resist floor drops.

You may not require sound tweaking tools with this speaker. This speaker sounds clean and detailed out of the box. Clear voices and lead instruments make it excellent for listening to many forms of audio content. Like many luxury speakers, it offers a room calibration tool that automatically adjusts the speaker’s sound to your room’s acoustics—especially useful in a tiny environment like a shower. This speaker sounds good for its price but lacks the Ultimate Ears’ 360-degree configuration.

Product NameUE Wonderboom 2
Battery LifeUp to 13 hours
Water ResistanceIP67 rating (waterproof and dustproof)
ConnectivityBluetooth
Speaker TypePortable
Weight420 grams

The speaker has an IP67 rating, which means that it won’t be damaged if it goes into water as long as you get it out of the water within 30 minutes. The WONDERBOOM 2 is one of the best shower speakers because it can float. It is also one of the best bath speakers because it can float. On the front, there are also big “+” and “-” signs that, as you might guess, control the volume.

The WONDERBOOM 2 is easy to hang from a hook or shower stand because it has a small elastic loop on the back. The speaker has two 40mm drivers and two passive radiators to make the bass sound loud. Its “outdoor boost” mode also makes the speaker louder, but it makes the sound less clear.

The Good

  1. Surprisingly loud sound for how small it is
  2. Built to last and keep water out
  3. 360-degree sound dispersion
  4. It can be connected to another Wonderboom 2 for stereo music.

The Bad

  1. It doesn’t have any advanced features, like integrating a speech assistant.
  2. Some users might think the bass reaction isn’t as strong.

Product NameJBL Charge 5
Battery LifeUp to 20 hours
Water ResistanceIP67 rating (waterproof and dustproof)
ConnectivityBluetooth
Speaker TypePortable
Weight960 grams

The Charge 5, like most of JBL’s new Bluetooth speakers, is made of a cloth that is easy to hold on to. It also has an IP67 rating. You can put it all the way down in the tub if you want to, but I’m not sure why you would. The name comes from the fact that it can charge your gadgets through a USB port. This will drain the battery, but don’t worry: the Charge 5 has a 20-hour battery life, so losing two or three hours won’t make much of a difference.

The Charge 5 has passive bass speakers on each end, just like the Xtreme 5 and the Flip 5. This makes the low end stand out more, which is great since the Charge 5 already sounds great. The speaker has a small stand built into it as well. It won’t stick to the wall of your shower, but you can put it on any flat surface in your bathroom and enjoy sound that fills the room. This makes it one of the best shower speakers. This is one of the Best Shower Speakers.

The Good

  1. Sound that is loud and deep in the bass
  2. Long battery life and the ability to charge other gadgets with a power bank
  3. Made to last and not get wet
  4. Using JBL PartyBoost, you can connect several speakers.

The Bad

  1. Compared to some other compact speakers, this one is heavier.
  2. It doesn’t have a USB-C port to charge faster.

Product NameAnker Soundcore Flare 2
Battery LifeUp to 12 hours
Water ResistanceIPX7 rating (waterproof and dustproof)

Speaker TypePortable
Weight610 grams

Anker’s audio-focused brand Soundcore has good features without a high price and the Best Shower Speakers. The Anker Soundcore Flare 2 is our favorite low-cost shower speaker for a few reasons. First, the cone-shaped, almost traffic-cone-like shape makes it a great way to fill a room with sound in three dimensions.

Soundcore put several drivers around the speaker’s edge and added two bass ports to make a full sound that isn’t too loud for a shower. It’s not very clear, and there might be too much focus on bass, but I’ll overlook that because the price is so reasonable.

The Good

  1. 360° sound and a lively LED light show
  2. The shape is waterproof and dustproof.
  3. The partner app lets you change the EQ settings.
  4. Stereo pairing with another Flare 2 speaker is possible

The Bad

  1. Compared to some competitors, the battery life isn’t as long.
  2. Some people may find the LED lights annoying.
