MacBook’s try to automatically control the brightness of your screen by dimming it when you move away from an outlet and adjusting it to the level of light in the area. But you can manually Adjust Display Brightness and turn off these features if you want to.

Steps to Adjust Display Brightness On Mac
- Press the F1 key to decrease the brightness of your screen.

Adjust Display Brightness On iPhone and iPad
- Open the Control Center by sliding your finger down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
- The brightness controls are one of the two vertical sliders, along with the volume control. Move the slider up and down to adjust the brightness.
- Press the Home button or tap anywhere on the screen to close Control Center.
Adjust Display Brightness On Android
- Open the Settings menu on your phone.
- Scroll down to select the Display settings.
- Turn off the toggle for Adaptive brightness.
