Why you should use Google Chrome as your default browser
Chrome is part of the Google ecosystem, so you can connect your account to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, among other Google services. When you set Chrome as your default app, any link you click from any app will open in the browser right away. You can also sign in on different devices, and your bookmarks, apps, and extension settings will all be the same. Any changes you make on one device show up on all the other devices where you are signed in.
If you don’t think Chrome does enough, you can make it do more by adding the best extensions from the Web Store. It also has cross-migration, which lets you bring over settings from another browser. You don’t have to start over when setting up the browser. Depending on the web browser you are switching from, you may be able to import your bookmarks, browsing history, homepage, search engines, and saved passwords.
