Check your internet connection
Even though this might seem obvious, you need to be connected to the internet to use Spotify on a desktop. Your PC doesn’t have a backup wifi source, like mobile data, because it doesn’t have one. If your desktop internet goes down, Spotify often won’t work again until you restart your computer.
Do a speed test on your device if you’re not sure if there’s something wrong with your router. After this, if your router works as it should, you’re done. Then, we’d suggest that you restart your desktop PC.
