If so, you should open Twitch in a private or anonymous window. When you open a tab in “incognito mode,” all the extensions are turned off by default.
If you use the Firefox browser, you can open a private window by pressing and holding Shift, Ctrl, and P. If you are using the Chrome browser, you can open a new private window by pressing and holding Shift, Ctrl, and N.
