Turn on and off Airplane Mode
One simple fix is to enable and disable aeroplane mode.
- Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar or press Win + A to get to aero plane mode.
- Click the tile for “Airplane mode” to turn it on. The tile should now be blue.
- Click again on the “Airplane mode” tile to turn it off. This should make the tile turn back to its original white color.
Wifi Network Forget and Reconnect
One way to fix a Wi-Fi network that won’t work right is to forget about it and try to connect to it again. Follow these steps to forget the Wi-Fi network:
- Find the icon for Wi-Fi on the taskbar.
- When you click on it, the WiFi menu will grow.
- Right-click on the name of the network to which you want to connect.
- Select “Forget“
Use the Internet Connections Troubleshooter
You can use the Windows Troubleshooter to see if that helps. The troubleshooter will try to figure out what’s wrong based on what you tell it. Troubleshooter is good at figuring out when settings are wrong and fixing them.
- Settings > System > Troubleshooter
- Click on Other solutions
- Internet Connections is at the bottom of the page.
- Click on Start
Disable Power Management Setting for Network Adapter
- Press Win + R
- Type devmgmt.msc and press enter
- Expand Network Adapters.
- Double click the current network adapter
- Click on Change settings
- Select Power Management tab
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
Disable IPv6 Settings
- Press Win + R to launch Run command
- Type in
ncpa.cpl
and press enter - Right-click on WiFi
- Click on Properties
- Scroll and find Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
- Untick the checkbox
- Press OK
Wi-Fi Not Working on iPhone/iOS
Reset you Network Setting
- Launch the Settings from your Home screen.
- Tap General.
- Tap Reset. You’ll need to scroll down to the bottom.
- Tap Reset Network Settings.
- Enter your Passcode if prompted.
- Tap Reset Network Settings to confirm.
Reboot your iPhone
- Press and hold the On/Off button on the device’s right side.
- While still holding the On/Off button, press and hold either of the volume buttons on the left side until the power-off slider appears on the screen.
- Drag the slider from left to right to turn your device off.
- To turn your device back on, hold the On/Off button again until you see the Apple logo appear.

- Launch Settings app.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap the Wi-Fi network you want.

Restart your Android device
- Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
