The Asus TUF A15, just like other gaming laptops in Asus’ TUF series, is a massive, hefty gadget that is a long cry from Asus’ Zephyrus range; yet, it is, in and of itself, part of the appeal. Asus’ Zephyrus range features thinner and lighter computers. The ‘TUF’ brand suggests that the Asus TUF A15 places a premium on build quality and longevity, which is reflected in the design of the product.
This is not a tough laptop that you could drop from a great height and not worry about it, but it is a gaming laptop that you would be happy to put in a backpack and go to LAN parties and the homes of your friends. The Asus TUF A15 is not like other ultra-thin and light gaming laptops, which give off the impression that they are so fragile that you would be embarrassed to take them outside of the house.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]It is a design that clearly doesn’t hide the fact that this is a gaming machine, but at the same time, it doesn’t go absolutely crazy either. If you’d want to give it some further gamer cred, the Asus TUF A15 comes with a sheet of stickers that you can use to cover the laptop. The chassis is available in two different colors: Fortress Gray (the color of our review model, which can be seen in the picture), and Bonfire Black.
When you open up the laptop, you’ll find even more design options that are intended to appeal to gamers. There is the nearly required RGB lighting for the keys, and the all-important WASD keys are further highlighted with a transparent coloring, so there is no question in your mind that this is a laptop designed for gaming.

Where to get ASUS TUF Gaming A15?
It is important to keep in mind that, in general, you should steer clear of playing games on a gaming laptop when it is not plugged in, since doing so will result in significantly decreased performance. On the other hand, that level of endurance was more than sufficient for productive duties, and I was able to use this device for a number of hours without having to charge it up.
It’s possible that the Asus TUF Gaming A15 isn’t the most powerful gaming laptop on the market, but it definitely won my heart over. It would be more appealing if it had a better display resolution, but the fact that it can run any triple-A game at above 60 frames per second provides a smooth and detailed experience at an incredible value. If you wish to upgrade to Quad HD, however, you will need to pay an additional fee.
